Siemens Teamcenter PLM Project Management – Consumer Packaging

Challenge

We worked with one of the world’s largest companies to help them re-start their Siemens Teamcenter PLM deployment project, which had gotten stuck for a variety of reasons.  The previous services vendor the client worked with was unable to complete the deployment on time or on budget due to some technical glitches (which required 600 billable hours to resolve), and then disengaged from the project for around half a year, which meant that what was initially a 4 month project had become a 9 month project with nothing to show for it.

The company hired Unstoppable Software to come onsite, assess their deployment readiness, finished developing their use cases, design a data migration strategy, and train their users.

Results

By taking an Agile approach to the project – establishing iterative milestones for delivery and breaking the project up into smaller SOW’s, we were able to get the project re-started and moving towards a full rollout.
